Over the last few decades, the consumer electronics industry made steady progress in the visual reproduction. In eighties, most households had rounded screen televisions. In nineties, tube type flat screens began to replace the rounded screens. Most recently, the stylish flat-panel screens became available. The picture quality also progressed from the grainy pictures with thick horizontal lines to the stunning clarity of high-definition pictures.

Meanwhile, the progress in the quality of accompanying audio remained many steps behind that of the picture quality. In fact, the sound quality may have even deteriorated. In sixties, television cabinets were made of wood, thus, they sounded pretty good compared to the small radios. However, in today's slim flat-panel televisions, made of plastic, two small speakers are mounted on sides. The sound image becomes separated and unfocused. The human dialogues, especially, become difficult to understand.

Binaura Audio Research promises to end this. We accomplish it by combining Binaura's patented audio signal processing circuitry with unique speaker enclosure designs. We strive to bring the sound quality of every television in this world to match with the stunning clarity of high-definition pictures.

But, our technology does not end with simply bringing a clear sound for TV programs. Our single cabinet Main Speaker produces a very realistic surround sound image from any 5.1-channel sources, like the audio from DVD and some cable TV movies.
